On the eve of this of this Friday, I have just discovered the blog feature in our website design; this is major. As I write the first blog post for Tampa City Boxing, I have no idea what to write about, therefore, I'll write about my observations. Usually Friday's are pretty busy at our gym, but tonight is one of those unusual nights; tomorrow our whole amateur boxing team is fighting. A member's father walks in and asks, "Where are all the people?" I respond and say, "Everyone is here!" He laughed and walked away. Its all about perception. Is the glass half empty or half full? Where one saw a void in the gym, another saw an opportunity to take full advantage of the coaching available. Sometimes everything you need is within you. Just showing up is all it takes.
